Choose Your Own Adventure Retreat
Choose Your Own Adventure Young Adult Retreat, April 4-6, Lake Louise Camp and Retreat Center, no cost, funded by a grant from Foundation for Theological Exploration. For ages post high school 18 – 30. Participants are invited to come away from the daily grind and journey alongside others, meeting each other wherever are in our faith and spirituality. As a group & individuals, we’ll imagine and create a viable future that’s life giving and hope filled. Each day will provide a variety of offerings – participants will build their day based on learning style and interests. Single or shared sleeping rooms, communal spaces, outdoor activities, The design team is attentive to the diverse needs of participants including language, ability, socio-economic, orientation, gender, culture, and needs that will be self-identified by participants.
There is also a track for those in ministry with young adults. Also, no cost. Leaders who work with young adults? Retreat at beautiful Lake Louise, join with others who serve in this vital ministry, be supported and resourced by facilitators, peers, optional silent retreat, whatever you need for the your renewal and rest.

WE’RE sending college musicians and young adult worship leaders to CONVERGING 2025. MORE INFO HERE.
We will cover registration, housing and travel for those interested in attending and sharing what they learned when they get back.

Each year, thousands of people gather together at the Christian Community Developer Association’s National Conference to be encouraged, equipped, and inspired for building communities of God’s justice, grace, and goodness. And we invite you to be a part of this!

The Longest Night 2024
An evening of music, food and friends supporting those on whom the holiday season weighs heavy.
Come to sing through grief, loneliness, brokenness and more as we await the coming of Love’s promise. Like a wake for the past year, The Longest Night is our chance to face the world with the hope of Emmanuel, God With Us.
Event Details
WHEN: December 21, 2024 at 7-9pm
WHERE: Mexican Fiesta Restaurant - Dearborn Heights
WHO: College Students, Young Adults & All Ages - Anyone interested in singing in the Christmas miracle despite life’s struggles.
Motor City Hymns will be providing music for the evening. Food will be provided. Guests are welcome to purchase their own drinks. Donations received on the evening will go to support the food pantries at Henry Ford College and University of Michigan-Dearborn
We’ll also be saying a special goodbye to Carl Gladstone and Family as they head to New Zealand for a year abroad doing medical service and more!

Glitter Blessings
On National Coming Out Day we will be present on Gullen Mall at Wayne State & at Henry Ford College to offer blessings to all persons finding their truest selves in the full love of the Divine.
We will offer glitter to mark your hands or forehead. and we’ll offer words of blessing to all as we celebrate this day of freedom for our LGBTQIA+ siblings.
This year we’re welcoming a performer from Drag Queen Bingo in Royal Oak to help us offer blessings in the MOST FABULOUS WAY EVER!
